New Year’s Eve celebrations in Darling Harbour are organised and managed by Placemaking NSW. The family-friendly event includes 9pm and midnight fireworks displays.

Getting here
- Public Transport is the best way to get around on New Year’s Eve with thousands of extra services running
- Driving is not recommended with road closures and limited car parking available.
- Catch transport to Central or Town Hall and continue on foot.
- Accessible entrance and drop off point is Iron Wharf Place. Arrive before 8pm due to road closures.
Leaving
- L1 Dulwich Hill Light rail services will not run between Convention and Central from 8pm. For Inner West light rail services walk to Convention light rail stop.
- Pedestrian diversions are in place on New Year’s Eve. The way you arrive, may be different to how you get home. Be prepared for a longer walk to transport hubs.
