Getting here
- No parking available, public transport is the best way to get around on New Year’s Eve, with thousands of additional services running.
- The closest train station is Milsons Point (limited services), North Sydney and Sydney Metro Victoria Cross Station.
- Buses will not run to Milsons Point, bus passengers will need to walk from North Sydney Station.
- Milsons Point ferry wharf will close from 3pm with very limited services operating after the midnight fireworks.
- Plenty of additional trains and buses will be operating. Follow the directions of NSW Police and staff on site.
- Major roads will close from 5pm, leave the car at home. See road closure information.
Leaving
- The closest train stations are Milsons Point (limited services), North Sydney and Sydney Metro Victoria Cross.
- Milsons Point station will have crowd control measures in place after the fireworks, be patient and follow the directions of staff on site.
- Additional trains and buses will be operating. Follow the directions of NSW Police and staff on site.
- Pedestrian diversions are in place on New Year’s Eve. The way you arrive, may be different to how you get home. Be prepared for a longer walk to transport hubs.
